Vi\u00f0 s\u00e1tum \u00e1 \u00f6\u00f0rum bekk fyrir mi\u00f0ju, og \u00e9g var fegin, a\u00f0 \u00e9g skyldi hafa haft vit \u00e1 \u00fev\u00ed a\u00f0 kl\u00e6\u00f0ast mj\u00faka gr\u00e1a silkikj\u00f3lnum, sem \u00e9g l\u00e9t eftir m\u00e9r a\u00f0 kaupa \u00ed Vilnius \u00ed fyrra. V\u00edtt og breitt um Evr\u00f3pu er veri\u00f0 a\u00f0 minnast \u00feess, a\u00f0 n\u00fa eru hundra\u00f0 \u00e1r li\u00f0in fr\u00e1 \u00feessari sl\u00e1turt\u00ed\u00f0. \u00dea\u00f0 hvarfla\u00f0i \u00e1rei\u00f0anlega ekki a\u00f0 \u00feeim, sem v\u00edg\u00f0u \u00feetta snotra leikh\u00fas \u00ed  eins konar jugendst\u00edl, a\u00f0  f\u00e1einum vikum seinna yr\u00f0i gerv\u00f6ll Evr\u00f3pa heltekin af hamslausri sj\u00e1lfsey\u00f0ingarhv\u00f6t. Fr\u00e9ttirnar fr\u00e1 \u00dakra\u00ednu, sem dynja \u00e1 eyrum okkar daglega, bo\u00f0a heldur ekki gott. Einn br\u00f3\u00f0irinn b\u00fdr vi\u00f0 sitt heimilisb\u00f6l \u00ed gervi \u00fe\u00fdskrar eiginkonu. Vi\u00f0 skildum ekki or\u00f0, en \u00fea\u00f0 kom ekki a\u00f0  s\u00f6k, \u00fev\u00ed a\u00f0 leikararnir notu\u00f0u ekki bara or\u00f0in til a\u00f0 tj\u00e1 sig, heldur allan l\u00edkamann. Augun, hendurnar, jafnvel f\u00e6turna, hver hreyfing tala\u00f0i til okkar \u00fat \u00ed salinn, og l\u00fdsti \u00fdmist  angist, rei\u00f0i, hatri, \u00e1st e\u00f0a eftirgj\u00f6f.<\/p>\n<p>\u00deetta var eitthva\u00f0 sem \u00e9g haf\u00f0i aldrei upplifa\u00f0 \u00e1\u00f0ur \u00ed leikh\u00fasum okkar t\u00edma \u00ed Evr\u00f3pu, en haf\u00f0i lesi\u00f0 um, \u00feegar \u00e9g var leiklistarnemandi vi\u00f0 \u00dej\u00f3\u00f0leikh\u00fasi\u00f0 for\u00f0um daga. Hann h\u00e9t Kostant\u00edn Stanislavski, og var R\u00fassi, au\u00f0vita\u00f0. Leikh\u00fasstj\u00f3ri vi\u00f0 eitt helsta leikh\u00fas Moskvu (Moscow Art Theater) \u00e1 millistr\u00ed\u00f0s\u00e1runum og haf\u00f0i g\u00edfurleg \u00e1hrif, ekki bara \u00ed eigin landi, heldur um allan heim. \u00cd leikh\u00fasinu gilda engin l\u00e1tal\u00e6ti, sag\u00f0i hann. Anna\u00f0 hvort gefur \u00fe\u00fa \u00feig allan \u00ed verkefni\u00f0, e\u00f0a fer\u00f0 heim og kemur aldrei aftur. \u00de\u00fa setur \u00feig \u00ed spor \u00feeirrar pers\u00f3nu, sem \u00fe\u00fa ert a\u00f0 t\u00falka \u00e1 svi\u00f0inu, hugsar eins og h\u00fan, ERT h\u00fan  \u2013  e\u00f0a finnur \u00fe\u00e9r anna\u00f0 starf.<\/p>\n<p>Og \u00feetta kv\u00f6ld \u00ed leikh\u00fasinu \u00ed Tartu ver\u00f0ur m\u00e9r \u00f3gleymanlegt, vegna \u00feess a\u00f0 \u00e9g fann fyrir Stanislavski \u00e1 eigin skinni. N\u00fa skildi \u00e9g betur en nokkru sinni, hva\u00f0 hann var a\u00f0 fara \u00e1 s\u00ednum t\u00edma. Hann \u00e1tti a\u00f0 hafa sagt, a\u00f0 hvert kv\u00f6ld \u00e1 leiksvi\u00f0inu v\u00e6ri eins og fyrsta kv\u00f6ldi\u00f0: n\u00fd upplifun, allsendis \u00f3l\u00edk upplifun g\u00e6rdagsins.
